The carbon facial employs the unique properties of activated carbon to thoroughly cleanse and exfoliate the skin, effectively eliminating impurities and excess oil. A thin layer of carbon lotion is applied to the face and left to settle into the pores. A laser is then passed over the skin. The carbon absorbs the laser energy and is lifted away, taking oil, dead skin cells and impurities with it.
The gentle warmth from the laser also stimulates the skin, which is why the treatment helps minimise the appearance of pores, enhance clarity and promote a luminous complexion.

Your Treatment, Step by Step
- Patch test. A free patch test before your first treatment to check compatibility with your skin.
- Cleanse. Your skin is cleansed to remove make-up and surface oil.
- Carbon mask. A thin layer of carbon lotion is applied and left to settle into the pores.
- Laser. You wear protective eyewear while the laser is passed over the skin. Most people feel a light warmth and hear a snapping sound as the carbon is lifted.
- Finish. Your skin is cleansed again and finished with moisturiser and SPF.
Results and How Often
Most clients see brighter, smoother skin and cleaner-looking pores straight after the first treatment. For ongoing oiliness, congestion and pores, a course of treatments spaced a few weeks apart builds on the result. We will recommend a plan that suits your skin and your budget.
Afterwards, skin can look slightly pink for a short while. Wear SPF daily, avoid sunbeds, and go easy on strong exfoliants for a couple of days.
