The Korean lash lift is a newer, gentler lash lifting technique that gives your natural lashes a soft, natural curl from root to tip, without glue. Developed over the last few years to solve the problems clients had with traditional lash lifts (inconsistent lift, damage, harsh grow-out), the Korean method places the lifting product across the whole lash rather than just at the base. The result is a more consistent curve, less lash damage, and a softer, more natural grow-out that flatters every eye shape.
At Hannah Clarke Advanced Skin and Beauty in Rainford, the Korean lash lift is £45 including tint of your upper lashes (and lower lashes on request). The full appointment takes 45 minutes and starts with a consultation to assess your eye shape and lash length, so we can decide together on the lash shield that gives you the look you want, from soft and natural to more dramatically lifted.
A Korean lash lift is a semi-permanent lash treatment that lifts your natural lashes into a smooth, upward curve using a keratin-based, glueless formula. Unlike a traditional lash lift, where the lifting product sits only at the base of the lash, the Korean technique applies the product across the entire lash length. That gives you a much more consistent and even curve from root to tip, less overprocessing at the base, and a softer, more natural grow-out over the next 6 to 8 weeks.
The treatment is completely glueless. There's no adhesive touching your skin or lashes, which makes it a good option if you have sensitive eyes or have reacted to lash extensions or traditional lash lifts in the past.
The Korean lash lift solves the main frustrations clients have with the traditional method. Here's how they compare:
• Product placement: Traditional lifts apply the lifting cream only at the base of the lash. The Korean method applies it across the whole lash, so every millimetre curls consistently.
• Glue vs no glue: Traditional lash lifts use glue to hold your lashes against a shield while the product works. The Korean technique is glueless, using specialist shields and product placement instead. Better for sensitive eyes.
• Consistency: Traditional lifts can be hit-or-miss on stubborn, long, short or downward-growing lashes. The Korean lash lift is consistent enough to work on virtually every lash type.
• Grow-out: Because the lift is gentler and more even, the Korean method grows out more naturally. Traditional lifts can leave a visible kink as your lashes grow.
• Comfort: No glue means less discomfort during the treatment and less pulling on the skin around your eyes.
Every Korean lash lift appointment at Hannah Clarke starts with a full consultation. We'll look at your eye shape, your lash length and thickness, and talk through the kind of look you want to go for. Some clients want a soft, subtle lift for a naturally more open-eyed look. Others want a bold, dramatic upward curl that looks like they're already wearing mascara. Both are possible, and the difference comes down to the lash shield we select for you.
Once we've agreed on the look, the treatment itself takes around 45 minutes. Throughout the whole treatment I'm constantly checking on how your lashes are responding to the product. I don't apply the lifting cream, walk away, and come back at the end. I stay with you the entire time, monitoring the lift and making adjustments as needed. That's the reason the Korean method is so consistent, you're not left unattended while the product either underperforms or overprocesses.
At the end of the treatment, your upper lashes are tinted. If you'd like your lower lashes tinted as well, just let me know at the start of the appointment.
Who is the Korean lash lift for?
The Korean lash lift is a good match for anyone who's had a traditional lash lift not work as well as they hoped. It's especially effective on:
• Stubborn lashes that have never really taken to a traditional lash lift and drop back down within a couple of weeks
• Short lashes where a traditional lift struggles to create enough of a visible curve
• Long, heavy lashes that need extra hold across the length, not just at the root, to stay lifted
• Downward-growing lashes that traditionally need extra help to lift up and stay there
• Sensitive eyes or clients who have reacted to lash glue in the past
• Anyone new to lash lifts who wants the gentlest, most natural-looking option from the start
If your lashes are particularly stubborn, the treatment can take a little longer on the day. That's completely normal, and I'll adjust the process to make sure you get a strong result.
